Alliance Assurance Inc. received the prestigious prize of New Brunswick Entrepreneur of the Year given by the Economic Council of New Brunswick, on November 21, 1998.

During a banquet held in Moncton this past weekend, Patrick Durepos and Lily Durepos accepted the award in the name of the business and all its team members. During his acceptance speech, Mr. Durepos underlined in his speech: "This honor would not have been possible without the precious collaboration of the Alliance shareholders, notably Rolf Spangenberg, Mike St-Onge, and Claude Losier as well as the entire Alliance staff, which now includes more than 50 people."

This award is given annually to a Francophone business in New Brunswick that has distinguished itself in the following ways: financially; in research and development; in human resource management; in its commitment to its community; and for its vision and planning for the future.
