Alliance Assurance & Keal Technology form partnership Alliance Assurance Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected as Keal Technology's living lab. Keal and Alliance's relationship began in 1992 when Alliance purchased new workstations from Keal. Since then, Keal has completed a comprehensive wide area network installation process which includes an SQL server hosting business critical data for 10 branch locations, server load balancing software and a host of tools to allow Alliance to compete in today's competitive insurance marketplace.

Some of these tools include Microsoft™ Exchange Server for email, Rightfax software for desktop faxing, an intranet, internet access from every desktop, and a workstation "shadowing" feature for training. As well, Keal has developed the Alliance web site located at www.alliance-assurance.com.

With the acquisition of the Insurance Broker Management System (IBMS) division from CGI, Keal is now able to offer a complete technology package for insurance brokers.

The Living Lab concept is designed to research new ideas and technologies for insurance brokerage operations. Initiatives that prove to be productive and effective in the Living Lab are then introduced into development and beta testing before making final releases. The experience provided in this process allows Keal to gain an appreciation for the possible problems that could develop with new technology, development sound solutions and take new products to market faster. As well, it allows brokers to see products in a live setting before they purchase it.

Keal extends an invitation to all interested Insurance Brokers to visit Alliance to see first hand the efficiencies generated by a successful technology plan.
